The music of Richard Wagner fills the extravagant auditorium of the Bayreuth Festspielhaus in this release of a performance originally staged in June and July of 1992. Conductor Daniel Barenboim leads the Orchester der Bayreuther Festspiele in a performance starring Siegfried Jerusalem, Graham Clark, and John Tomlinson. Harry Kupfer directs for the stage.
