Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Peter Rolls (Antonio Moreno), a wealthy but idle young man, falls in love with mannequin Winifred Childs (Edith Storey) while he is on an ocean voyage. Others in the party include Peter's ambitious sister, Ena (Lillian Burns), Lord Rayglan (Harold Foshay), who she wants to marry, and Lord Raylgan's sister Eileen (Marion Henry). Ena wishes that Peter would court Eileen, so she tells Winifred that her brother is only toying with her. As a result, Winifred quickly forgets him. Back at home, she loses her job at the dressmaker's and lands another position at a department store which, coincidentally, happens to be owned by Peter's father (John Costello). The store's lecherous superintendent, Megelson (Thomas Mills), tricks Winifred into coming to his apartment, where he attacks her. Peter finds out where she is and goes after her. She has locked herself away from Megelson when he arrives, and Megelson denies knowing her whereabouts. But Peter sees torn pieces of Winifred's dress on the carpet and saves her. At this point, Winifred finally realizes that Peter does love her after all. Both Antonio Moreno and Edith Storey were rising stars when this film was made.
