Synopsis by Rachel Sprovtsoff
Shooting Star(s) follows the trajectory of Johnny Nunez, Brooklyn-born hip-hop celebrity photographer. Filmmakers Axel Ebermann and Daniel Frei include interviews with some of the artists he captures. Growing up as the adopted child of a Puerto Rican family and struggling to get through school and find his way, Nunez worked hard to get to the top of his field and he is on the verge of becoming a celebrity himself.
