Synopsis by Robert Firsching

This above-average juvenile-delinquency film from Japan's famed Nikkatsu studio tells the tragic story of a young man named Ryuji (Shunsuke Nago) who saves a biker from an accident. In return, the biker's gang takes Ryuji into the fold, allowing him to sleep with their woman, young Mako (Rie Tachibana from Tokyo Maruhi Night Report: Atsui Jueki). Ryuji, however, is really in love with the film's true star, Mako's older sister Ichiko (Hitomi Kozue from the OL Nikki series). When Mako figures out what's going on, she gets so jealous that she arranges for the gang's leader to battle Ryuji, paralyzing him from the waist down. The remorseful Ichiko takes on two jobs to pay for his hospital bills, but it's only a matter of time before the inevitable suicide. Like most Japanese delinquency films, this grim sukeban tale seems derived from the American-International exploitation melodramas of the '50s and '60s, but with a tone simultaneously more sexualized and nihilistic than that of its models.
