Writer/director Lisa Aschan teams with scribe Josefine Adolfsson to explore the ruthless rivalry amongst female teens with this drama about a two adolescent equestrians who enter into a tense psychological power struggle. Emma has just landed a coveted spot on a girls' equestrian athletics team when star rider Cassandra approaches her as a mentor. But while disciplined Emma admires her older peer's obvious gift for the sport, Cassandra's interest in Emma hints at something far more insidious. Later, as Emma and Cassandra's blossoming friendship gives way to an intense rivalry, Emma's preadolescent sister Sarah (Isabella Lindquist) finds her innocence slowly shattered when she is forced to grow up before her time.
