Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
The special friendship between two women forms the basis of this almost surreal drama that is set in Shanghai in the '30s. They remain very close until one of them gets married. The photography and musical score, combine to effectively convey the notion that the story is actually a memory rather than a current chronicle.
