Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Losseray (Michel Piccoli) is a surgeon who has recently suffered a heart attack but has returned to work. He is being hassled by the owner of a nearby medical clinic and becomes obsessed with the story of Berg (Gerard Depardieu), another surgeon who was similarly hassled by the same man some years before. Berg killed himself, his wife and children, apparently in response to the pressure.
