The starting point for the British sitcom See You Friday was a holiday cruise in Greece. On the last day of their separate vacations, a pair of thirtysomethings named Greg (Neil Pearson) and Lucy (Joanna Roth) met and fell in love. Determined that their ardor would not fade with the summer, Greg and Lucy promised to renew their romance upon returning to England. But this would not be as easy as it seemed, especially since the two protagonists lived on opposite sides of the Island, hundreds of miles apart. The six 25-minute episodes of See You Friday were shown by Yorkshire Television from May 9 to June 13, 1997.
