This weekly cable TV medical series was hosted by cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz, author of the bestselling Healing From the Heart and medical director of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital's Complementary Care Center. The purpose of the series was to help viewers wade through a morass of confusing and contradictory medical advice, with the kindly Dr. Oz providing advice combining both "ancient" and modern medicinal practices.
