It's disco time with host Mel Slirrup (Eugene Levy) and Melba the Disco Queen (Andrea Martin) in a dry run for the future SCTV: Network 90 recurring feature "Mel's Rock Pile." On "SCTV News", Earl Camembert (Levy) incurs the wrath of the tech crew when he complains about his chair and his pencil. And among this week's commercials is a new plug: Tex and Edna Boil's Organ Emporium (this week, they're smuggling Shetland budgies across the border for another promotion), not to mention the ads for the Ronco Weiner Skinner and Captain O'Shaughnessy Table Top Smoke Alarm.
