"Great White North" hosts Bob and Doug McKenzie (Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas) take off as wraparound hosts for this heady blend of new material and classic SCTV reruns. As our two heroes attempt to emulate (or rather, steal) the talk show hosted by Brian Johns (Eugene Levy), musical guest star Ian Thomas -- real-life brother of Dave Thomas -- performs "Hold On." The newer sketches include "The David Susskind Show," with the titular host (Rick Moranis) pontificating on popular culture. Encore sequences include such classics as "Fantasy Island," "Shakespeare in the Park," and "Mel Tormé"'s doobie-wah version of "The National Anthem."
