Scooby-Doo, named after the dog in an (otherwise human) mystery-solving quintet, is a 1970s Hanna-Barbera classic cartoon series that has continued to amuse audiences with its humor for decades -- even with its primitive animation techniques and utilization of a "laugh track." The teenage crime-solvers, along with cowardly Scooby, fearlessly face all the mysterious encounters they stumble upon after riding around in the "Mystery Machine." In "Go Away Ghost Ship," the gang has to stop "ghost" pirates from stealing goods from other ships.
