Synopsis by Sarah Sloboda
Scooby-Doo, named after the dog in an (otherwise human) mystery-solving quintet, is a 1970s Hanna-Barbera classic cartoon series that has continued to amuse audiences with its humor for decades -- even with its primitive animation techniques and utilization of a "laugh track." The teenage crime-solvers, along with cowardly Scooby, fearlessly face all the mysterious encounters they stumble upon after riding around in the "Mystery Machine." In "Hassle in the Castle," the gang lands on a haunted island and faces a phantom who tries to keep them from the secret treasure.
