Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Say Hello to a Dead Man was the 90-minute pilot episode of the exceedingly brief TV detective series Faraday and Company. Dan Dailey stars as private eye Frank Faraday, recently released from a Carribean jail after 28 years. Not quite adapting to all the changes in the world since 1946, Faraday is less than prepared to learn that he has an out-of-wedlock son named Steve (James Naughton). It isn't long before father and son are on their first case: the search for the man who killed Frank's partner nearly three decades earlier. Say Hello to a Dead Man had its premiere on September 26, 1974.
