Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Created by Dan Clark, the daily half-hour animated children's program Save-Ums deployed 3-D animation to help the kids at home solve everyday problems and to heighten their awareness of basic human values and ecological issues. The titular Save-Ums were a team of tiny, oddly-shaped superheroes named Kachung, Custard, Foo, BB Jammies, Jazzi, and Noodle. Taking off from their headquarters at Save-Um Central, our diminutive heroes zoomed off to rescue missions on land, sea, and air, all the while stressing the importance of working together harmoniously and preserving the environment. Save-Ums debuted in American on February 24, 2003, as part of The Learning Channel's weekday-morning "Ready Set Learn" lineup.
