The fate of an entire dynasty rests in the battle-scarred hands of a lone samurai in director Moon Jong-keum's sweeping tale of swordplay featuring action choreography by legendary Akirs Kurosawa collaborator Takakura Eizi. The Baeke Dynasty is about to fall, and in order to realize their true power they must travel to Japan and mend the extensive damage done to the sacred Heaven Sword. The journey to mend the Heaven Sword will be a treacherous one though, and in order to get the sword to master craftsman Kanemaru, it will take a fearsome band of warriors who aren't afraid to face death. Now, after three decades on the trail and the loss of countless lives, it's up to one lone warrior to ensure that the power of the Heaven's Blade is restored and deliver a saving message of hope to a dynasty on the edge of destruction.
