Sabotage (1992)

Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This weekly British series was an amalgam of the talk show and game-show format, featuring an all-female cast. On each half-hour episode, three women answered questions drawn from a catalog of selected topics. Those answering correctly were permitted to ban the other contestants from playing in subsequent rounds. At the end of the episode, the highest scorer tried to solve five picture puzzles -- if she was not sabotaged by the "losers" in the process. Curiously, despite the abundance of femininity on the series, Sabotage was created for Britain's Channel Four by a brace of certified males, Stephen Leahy and Andrew O'Connor.
