This more light-hearted take on the Saber Marionette R universe finds the all-male world of Japones devoid of all women save for androids called marionettes designed to look and behave as if they were female. The machines are devoid of emotion and exist mainly as a source of labor, but a young man named Otaru has discovered something extraordinary: three marionettes equipped with a unique "maiden circuit" that gives them emotions. Trouble is brewing, and now Otaru and his new, super-loyal and super-strong friends, Cherry, Lime, and Bloodberry must act together to save their country from the hands of a greedy neighboring dictator, hell-bent on taking over the world.
