Acclaimed American Countertenor Russell Oberlin offers a pair of memorable performances in this release featuring two broadcasts originally aired in 1961 and 1962 in addition to an extended interview with Oberlin. In a performance originally telecast on Camera Three in 1962, Oberlin performs works by St. Godric, Handel, and Britten. A second performance, originally telecast on Radio-Canada in 1961, Oberlin is accompanied by piano and harpsichordist Douglas Williams as he performs compositions by Purcell, A. Scarlatti, Wolf, and Schumann.
