A profile of pioneering Mexican-American journalist Ruben Salazar (1928-70), who was killed while covering a Chicano antiwar march in L.A. that morphed into a riot. The L.A. County Sheriff's Department deputy involved in the incident, Thomas Wilson, is among those interviewed. Insights into his life and work are provided by daughter Stephanie Salazar Cook; and former colleagues Bill Drummond, Bob Gibson, Guillermo Restrepo, Danny Villaneuva, and Boris Yaro.
