An aspiring reggae singer and reformed gangster finds his violent past returning with a vengeance in director William Kelly's violent tale of redemption. It's hard to tell where Ruddy Gale's attempt to go straight went wrong, but when the gun smoke lifted on that one fateful night, Ruddy's fiancée, Elizabeth, and his best friend, Barry, lay dead in a shady Bronx hotel room -- the victims of a violent bloodbath that should have claimed Ruddy as well. Now clean and sober and driving a car by day before practicing with his band as night falls, Ruddy has finally gotten his life on track. When a chance run-in with the vengeful crime boss from his old days finds Ruddy tempted to return to his old ways, the straightened-out singer must decide between a wide open future or a return to his dark past.
