Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Veteran cowboy hero Franklyn Farnum plays a veteran cowboy hero named Franklyn Farnum in this interesting silent western directed by former Vitagraph comedian Wally Van. Farnum arrives with his movie company in a small western hamlet where a young child (Buck Black) assumes he is just as heroic off the screen as on. In typical Tom Mix-style, Farnum proves the tyke correct by capturing a notorious outlaw (Vester Pegg). The toothy, freckled Buck Black was a popular boy actor who appeared in several of the earliest Our Gang shorts. He changed his named to Brett Black in the 1930s.
