Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Having recently beaten-up his co-star after losing his temper on set, a high-profile Korean film star recruits a genuine gangster to take the damaged actor's place under the strict stipulation that all violence in the film will be 100% real. Gang-pae is the second in command in his organization. As such, he is exposed to violence on a routine basis. But Gang-pae didn't grow up wanting to be a gangster; he still harbors hopes of becoming a big movie star despite the fact that his career never got off the ground. On the other hand, Soo-ta has build a successful career out of portraying tough guys on screen, though lately the pressures of stardom have been taking their toll. The paparazzi is always on his trail, and one day while filming a pivotal action scene he simply snaps - bruising his co-star so badly that he is forced to drop out of the film. Shortly thereafter, Soo-ta has a chance encounter with Gang-pae and quickly decides that the seasoned gangster would make a perfect co-star. It would seem that the production has been saved from certain failure, though in order to play the role Gang-pae makes a most unusual demand: if he's to star in the film alongside Soo-ta, the violence portrayed in the film must be completely real, no stunt doubles and no pulling punches. Later, as the shoot gets underway, the two stars prepare to take part in the most realistic film fight ever captured on camera.
