Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Young Rosemary Van Voort (Mary Miles Minter) is a talented wood carver, so she moves to New York to further her art. There she meets a violinist, Ricardo (Alan Forest) and they fall in love. However, Thamar Fedoreska (Charlotte Mineau), another woman in Rosemary's apartment building, has designs on Ricardo and she is jealous of the romance. One night Thamar's estranged husband and little son show up. There is a struggle and Thamar is shot. But the pair disappear and circumstances point to Rosemary as the murderer. She is put on trial and things look bleak until the boy reappears and, through an interpreter, tells the story of how his father (now dead) killed Thamar. Rosemary is released and returns to Ricardo. As usual, Minter's sister, Margaret Shelby, had a small supporting role in the film.
