Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Edna Murphy is the Rose of the Bowery in this low-budget filler described as "a comedy drama of the Underworld." On the lam from the cops, a thief rushes into an underworld hideout, offering to sell the contents of his satchel for getaway money. The other crooks open the satchel and discover a baby inside. Adopted by the head crook, the kid of course grows up to be heroine Murphy. It comes to pass that the girl finds herself falsely accused of murder, but during the trial she is set free when it turns out that she's actually the D.A.'s long-lost daughter! One extended flashback later, Murphy is billing and cooing in the arms of leading man Johnnie Walker.
