Rope of Sand on AllMovie

Set in the South African desert, this crime adventure begins in Diamondstad, a tiny mining town where a hunter and his guide have come to visit. The hunter sneaks into an off-limits area and steals a bunch of diamonds and with the guide flees across the desert. The hunter does not survive, and the guide returns home. Unfortunately he ends up accosted by the mining company's security chief. He takes the guide to a room and proceeds to brutalize him into disclosing the location of the purloined gems. The guide refuses to speak and the security man must release him. The mining company owner then intervenes with other more nefarious plans.
