Synopsis by Janiss Garza
A beautiful heiress (Alice Dovey) is being held prisoner by an evil Hindu antique dealer/hypnotist (Macey Harlan). A wealthy young man (William Courtney) finds out about the Hindu's captive and goes through all sorts of trials to save her. A ludicrous story, to be sure, but luckily director George Fitzmaurice made sure that the film did not take itself too seriously. Some of it, in fact, bordered a little too closely on satire. Add a lot of smoky Hindu mysticism and artifacts, plus a good amount of suspense, and this standard program feature made for a good hour's worth of entertainment.
