Synopsis by Janiss Garza

George B. Seitz was the perfect director for this fast-paced romantic adventure -- he had directed many serials for Pathe during the 1910s. Seitz also stars as the hero, Reginald, who is engaged to Sylvia (June Caprice), the daughter of a wealthy American who is traveling through Spain. Sylvia forgets her fiancé when she is wooed by Pedro Pezet (Harry Semels), the leader of a band of revolutionaries. Pezet's lover, Carmelita (Marguerite Courtot), becomes insanely jealous. When Reginald unexpectedly shows up, Sylvia gives him his ring back and goes off with Pezet. But the bandito has only been romancing her so he can hold her hostage and get ransom money from her father. Carmelita throws a wrench into the revolution by goading Reginald into action, and he saves Sylvia from Pezet's clutches. Pezet, meanwhile, reconciles with his fiery sweetheart. Much of this picture was shot on location in Spain.
