Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
"Dedicated to Mr. Douglas Fairbanks and his immortal classic Robin Hood, " as a title proclaimed, this very low-budget adventure featured two youngsters, Frankie Lee and Peggy Cartwright, who create an imaginary kingdom peopled with characters from Robin Hood. The children, of course, become the title character and Maid Marian while the boy's father (S.J. Bingham) turns into the noble King Richard and the local doctor (Ashley Cooper) appears as Prince John. Robin Hood, Jr. was bought outright by Poverty Row producer Maurice Conn, who remade it in 1936.
