Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

This Universal "Blue Streak Western" (the studio's top-of-the-line brand) starred Jack Hoxie as Duffy Burns, a college hero who returns to the old homestead to find his father (Francis Ford) in trouble with a gang of cattle rustlers. Resolving to catch the rustlers, Duffy goes undercover as a tenderfoot ranch hand. He quickly falls in love with pretty Gloria Carpenter (Mary McAllister), the daughter of one of the rustlers. Although she returns his affection, Gloria cannot understand Duffy's interest in Katherine Dodd (Marin Sais), a handsome widow. But Katherine is in possession of information that ultimately leads to the gang's capture and Duffy is forgiven. A former serial queen turned supporting actress, Sais was also Hoxie's wife at the time. A Roaring Adventure was based on a magazine story, The Tenderfoot, by actor Jack Rollens.
