The evangelical Christian animated video series Roach Approach concerns a funny cartoon roach named Squiggz who lives snugly with his family, and uses wacky events from the roach family's life to contemporize and retell Bible stories for young viewers. In the episode Roach Approach: Slingshot Slugger -- now available for home release -- Squiggz and his roach buddies, Cosmo and Flutter, have a nearly heart-stopping run-in with a giant exterminator, which inspires Squiggz's Grandpa Lou to recount the affirming story of David and Goliath from I Samuel 17. Through the story, Grandpa reminds Squiggz and his pals that they can conquer anything with the Lord on their side.
