This formulaic spaghetti western is of interest primarily due to its star, Mickey Hargitay, the one-time husband of Jayne Mansfield. Otherwise, it is standard bounty-hunter material from director Mario Pinzauti, who went on to make the better-known Vamos a Matar Sartana. Over a dozen spaghetti westerns with "Ringo" in the title were released following the success of the 1964 ballad of the same name -- recorded by television star Lorne Greene.
