Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
A melange of more movie types than can fit easily together, this unexceptional crime drama by director and co-scripter John Korporaal includes songs at the most unusual moments. The story is based on a novel by W.H. van Eemlandt and is about some provincial gangs going head-to-head over a briefcase that contains a fortune in jewels. The Dutch police are also after the briefcase, setting off a series of story complications that develop at a leisurely pace, creating a large array of subplots.
