Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
In spite of the considerable screen presence and reputation of Claudia Cardinale, Anouk Aimée, Marisa Berenson, and Gisèle Casadesus, this small drama about a young girl abandoned in a hotel who queries all four richly-attired women about a variety of subjects has nothing else going for it. The four female leads provide a series of monologues that show them to be the stereotypical "child-woman," or tough teenager, or flirty older woman -- but that is the extent of this film.
