Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Wong Bagus (Djago Sasongko) leaves the big city and abandons his job as a producer to return to his village in this symbolic drama. He says goodbye to a kind-hearted prostitute (Christine Sukander) with hopes of atoning for his wicked ways by helping the people of his home village. After a family reunion, Wong runs into his childhood sweetheart (Nungki Kusumastuti) and learns she is the mother of his seven-year-old son. The hooker follows Wong to the village, arriving at the same time as a team of health-care professionals who educate the local women on the use of condoms. This 1979 feature was reviewed at the 1987 Asian American International Film Festival in New York City.
