Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

John and Sigfried Wilson are the millionaire shipping magnates who buy and restore the 1908 clipper ship Regina Maris. After extensive work on the ship, they depart Norway for a 15-month voyage on the open seas, traveling to Portugal and Cape Verdi before following the equator to Rio, Cape Horn, Peru, Panama and up to Florida. After docking in New York, they cross the Atlantic, headed for France before arriving back in Norway. A German film crew photographed the journey in 16m and the feature made an impressive debut at a gathering of sea captains who had mastered the trip around the dangerous Cape Horn. This exciting and colorful documentary is sure to delight sailing enthusiasts all over the world.
