Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Veteran Gower Gulch producer Bernard B. Ray released this cheaply-made western starring silent screen cowboy Jack Perrin. Ray's Reliable Pictures Corporation became almost a graveyard of otherwise neglected silent film heroes, whose names still meant something in the hinterlands. Apart from Perrin, Ray also managed to corral Fred Humes, Dick Talmadge, Bob Custer, and even Rin Tin Tin, Jr., all of them working more-or-less for scale. In Rawhide Mail Perrin plays an outlaw who is reformed by the love of a good woman (Lillian Gilmore), a plot as old as the western film genre itself.
