Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

A lacklustre, rather dour-looking cowboy hero, Dick Hatton, with his horse, Star, nevertheless manages to carve a niche for himself in the already overcrowded field of also-ran cowboys of the 1920s. In this typical low-budget oater, Hatton plays Dick Williams, the new owner of the Bar M. Ranch, who saves the sheriff's daughter from being thrown by her frightened horse. Soon enough, Dick is framed for both theft and murder. The sheriff, however, pays his debt to Dick by allowing him to escape and search for the real culprit, the town's unscrupulous moneylender. The film -- whose supporting cast, sadly, seems to have been lost to history -- was scripted by the prolific George W. Pyper.
