Synopsis by Nathan Southern

Soft rock/album rock guitarist Randy Bachman is best known for pioneering two multi-platinum bands: the Guess Who, which he led with Burton Cummings, and the Bachman-Turner Overdrive, which he founded in 1972 in Winnipeg with C.F. Turner. These groups peaked during the '60s and '70s, respectively. Bachman divided his time more or less equally between reunion work with the groups during the '80s, and released a series of solo records in the '90s and early 2000s, the most recent of which, the EP Jazz Thing, arrived in 2004. Bachman performed a Bravo! Live at the Rehearsal Hall concert in support of this release in 2004, now available exclusively in this home release. The concert finds Bachman supported by such five-star guest musicians as Curtis Stiegers, Joel Kroeker, Tal Bachman, Stephan Moccio, and the performer's wife, Denise McCann Bachman. Tracks include the Johnny Cash cover "I Walk the Line," the Beatles cover "I Feel Fine," and "Looking Out for Number 1."
