Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Leaving his life as a ranch hand in the wake of her parents' death, thirtysomething Jesse Torres (Roger Gutierrez) sets his sights on Los Angeles and quickly learns that life in the city isn't for the faint of heart. Jesse is a natural-born misfit. His attitude formed more by the spirit of rock & roll than Spanish tradition, the tattooed shutterbug knows there's more to life than working on a ranch, and seeks out his childhood friend Tom (Brian Eric Johnson) after arriving in the Hollywood ghetto. Before long, old friends are neighbors, and Jesse realizes that Tom has fallen in with the local gangs and developed a serious drug habit. Though the future isn't looking very bright, Jesse soon finds comfort in the company of Lil' Bit (Christina Woods), a pretty local girl with a tough attitude. When Jesse learns that Lil' Bit is the property of volatile local gangster Capone (Danny Trejo), and that Capone intends to hold onto her at all costs, the warm-hearted former ranch hand prepares to make a choice that could change his life forever.
