Michael (Hal Sparks) shows the gang his slides from Paris, and they're all bored. David (Chris Potter) is hosting a political fundraiser for Senator Diane Baxter (Barbara Gordon), and Michael, worried that his friends and family will embarrass him, decides not to invite them. Just when Ted (Scott Lowell) and Emmett (Peter Paige) are complaining that Michael is changing, he shows up with the gold Miata that David just bought him. Then they find out David's holding some kind of party. Guillaume (Noam Jenkins) gets his deportation letter, so he and Lindsay (Thea Gill) plan to get married quickly. Brian (Gale Harold) tells Lindsay that she's marrying the wrong person. She tells him that her and Mel (Michelle Clunie) are through. Brian also pays a visit to Michael, just to let him know that he's become a "little snot." Justin's (Randy Harrison) locker is vandalized at school. Jennifer (Sherry Miller) talks to the principal, Dr. Perkins (John Bourgeois), who isn't sympathetic, and won't let Justin start a Gay-Straight Alliance at the school. Uncle Vic (Jack Wetherall) sees a newspaper story about David's fundraiser and shows it to the gang. Michael still won't invite them, and angrily tells Debbie (Sharon Gless) it's not her thing. After Michael leaves, Brian gets out his checkbook, and the gang dresses to the nines (Emmett in drag, Ted in leather) and crashes the party. The party gets a little crazy. The senator doesn't seem to mind, but Michael has a fit and yells at Debbie. Later, Brian runs into Guillaume at the supermarket. The Frenchman insults Brian, and tells him he plans to adopt Gus, spurring Brian into drastic action. Justin holds a rally at school to save his club, and Dr. Perkins seems ready to expel Justin, until the "guest of honor" shows up.
