When tomboy Olive Barton (Margarita Fisher) turns a tea with the minister into a boxing match, her capitalist father forbids her to accompany him on a trip out West. She manages to sneak onto his private railroad car anyway. Also on the trip is Barton's secretary Alvin Thorne (Hayward Mack), who lusts after Olive and the fortune she will inherit. The party becomes stranded in an auto traveling across the desert but they are saved by young Leonard Hewitt (Emory Johnson) and his partner, "Highball" Hazelitt (William Mong), a pair of newly rich prospectors. They lead the Bartons into town. Since the town has gone dry, Olive transforms the saloon into a gymnasium. The villainous "Three Gun" Smith (Gordon Russell) tries to break up its grand opening, but Hewitt stops him. A battle ensues with Hewitt and Highball against Thorne and Three Gun, but with Olive's assistance, the heroes come out on top, and Olive wins a rich husband in Hewitt.
