This OVA series is comprised of the episodes "Versus Battle 1: Grey Side" and "Versus Battle 2: Blue Side." The story of this OVA series is much more concrete than the bizarre, fanciful Project A-Ko: Love and Robots series, is far less comical, and portrays different dynamics between characters. Overall, it is an addition to the franchise that differs in many ways and, as a result, it was shunned by many original fans of Project A-Ko. Here, we find C-Ko captured by space pirates who want to channel the power of an evil magician through her body, and it's up to bounty hunters A-Ko and B-Ko to save her.
