If you've gathered that the title of this film indicates that it was the first of a series, you're right. However, only Professional Killers 1 has thus far been released in the US, so we can't clue you in as to what happens next. Set in feudal Japan, this film features three mercenaries who offer their services to the highest bidder. This means that they're either good guys or bad, depending upon the circumstances. It also means that, by the process of elimination, they're the only characters worth rooting for.
