Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
A rookie journalist is given an assignment to conduct a survey on the happiness of the residents of a small Yugoslavian town. Once there, he thinks that the seed he has spread around during his romantic liaisons is just like so much pollen dust; because he has had the mumps, he believes himself sterile. When he returns to the big city and starts college, he moves in with one of the girls he had relations with in the town. He is very surprised to receive a call one day telling him that he has had a baby by the wife of the magistrate he was staying with.
