In the beginning of a new Wiseguy story arc, McPike (Jonathan Banks) offers Santana (Steven Bauer) a permanent job as undercover agent for the OCB, but McPike refuses, feeling responsible for the death of his ladyfriend, Dahlia, while completing his first assignment. Hoping to start anew, Santana goes to New York to live with his sister Celia (Ada Maris), his policeman brother-in-law, Ritchie (Jim Youngs), and his niece, Connie (Vanessa Marquez). When Ritchie abruptly vanishes, Santana has reason to believe that his brother-in-law was "on the take" -- but this turns out not to be the case. Ultimately, Santana teams with Ritchie to get the goods on some genuinely corrupt cops, and thus the OCB once again intrudes upon Santana's life. The first of Wiseguy's three climactic episodes, "Point of No Return" was never given a network telecast, but instead made its first appearance in syndication.
