Synopsis

Mario Van Peebles' documentary "Poetic License" looks at the controversy surrounding work by political activist and poet Amiri Baraka, including a poem called "Somebody Blew Up America" that was written after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The poem was criticized by some for containing content that seemed to be anti-Semitic.
