Human beings, however, have a habit of leaving waste everywhere that they travel and space is no exception -- a dangerous problem for spacecrafts that could be seriously damaged by something as small as a screw. The solution? Hire underpaid and underappreciated interstellar garbage people, of course! Planetes follows the adventures of Technora's Debris Collecting section. This isn't the job that most people want to be doing for the rest of their lives. Who ever thought a job in outer space would be so boring?
