Synopsis by Nathan Southern

Pink Floyd: The Ultimate Review brings together, on a single DVD, three critically acclaimed documentaries analyzing the supergroup's towering, almost mythical success at unique points in its career: Pink Floyd: Atom Heart Mother evaluates the 1970 Atom Heart Mother album and features little-seen footage of Pink Floyd delving into "Atom Heart Mother" (the only known extant footage of a live performance of this song) at the 1970 Bath Music Festival, while Pink Floyd -- The Definitive Review 1967-1974 and Pink Floyd -- The Definitive Review 1975-1996 chart -- respectively -- the group's rise to prominence and acclaim in the '60s and '70s and its critical and commercial decline to novelty status in the '80s and '90s. Included are interviews with music journalists and historians, and rare live concert and behind-the-scenes footage of the band.
