Dan Glaser's quirky crime film Pinching Penny centers on a British hypochondriac who becomes obsessed with owning the newest and best of everything. Eventually he finds himself in America, committing more and more outrageous crimes in order to maintain the abundant finances he needs to continue his obsession.
